Kate Dore, owner and creative director of Dore Davis Design, received her BA from Stanford University and her MFA from the Academy of Art College in San Francisco, CA. She worked on the design teams for Stanford Magazine, the Sharper Image catalog and Dr. Dobbs Journal before opening Dore Davis Design in Sacramento, CA in 1986.

Kate has written design related articles for Publish!, Print and How magazines as well as numerous articles for design and trade newsletters. Kate’s perspectives on design and design technology have been solicited by and quoted in Business Week, The San Jose Mercury News, The Sacramento Bee, The Sacramento Business Journal and other publications.
